Has anyone hired a VA to manage any of their accounts (reply to dms, make posts, etc etc)

I'm looking to do something like but I'm afraid of the security risk even if I hire someone that I trust. And there's not that many settings to limit what an account manager can or cannot do, is there?

It all depend on what the account is use for. And you can always use software like last pass to limit their access.

One idea – might be flawed – but you can hire a VA, give him/her the access to a computer or even a cloud machine using TeamViewer or AnyDesk to control it, and then login into your Instagram account directly through the browser. (Make sure to set it up to only work through guided access, so the VA can only control the browser and nothing else).

Don't let the browser save your password, and also don't use the same password for the email address. This way, you can monitor the VA's activities, and also be assured that the person doesn't have your password or any other form of accessing it.

Working as a VA myself, I think it's rare to find people with bad intentions. I mean, I can't affirm that everyone out there is good, but I doubt someone would steal it. After all, we work on this for a living. It's pointless to steal or disclosure your customer's info.

The option I mentioned above is what I do with some of my customers. Especially on those who have specific software and I cannot buy or use on my computer, but can work for that purpose.

Why not share solution here.
I can do that for you and you can trust me as if you want I can give you one of my instagram page as an assurity that I am legit and is here for some serious business.
