No offense, but I doubt the 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing.
You should be more specific on that part.
Also, if you have experience in Black Hat Affiliate Marketing and CPA in Adult Marketing, the market is quite in demand in that field.
Just a little advice from someone who's doing these Freelance jobs.
For me, you should focus on that instead of getting a Virtual Assistant Job.

I got a V.A. job from here by just providing solutions to the challenge one member was having with his client's website.
Little did I know that will pave a way for me outside this forum. I think you should start figuring out way to give out value before fixing your mind on the future return.

For that kind of client you have to either a) advertise in the right place for people who are looking for this service, or b) be willing to reach out and capable of closing the deals with people who need it.
The problem with the first option is that people who are looking for this service are more than likely comparing prices and reviews, so unless you're the most competitively priced with a good reputation, you might struggle to get what you want. The second option takes a lot more time, but is more likely to get you what you want - if you're capable of convincing someone to hire you!
A man that is facing the brink of death is desperate. Hence, it will push you to be wiser and think of more ways to make money. This is not one way of doing it. I've been a VA for more than 10 years and I still am. But now, I have my own business partnered up with my old client, and making good money. The point is, that you're looking at the right place but not doing the right thing.

You can try 'Hire a freelancer' sub-forum here after upgrading your account. I don't know if you'll find $1000 a month job but I see a lot of gigs being posted here. Try your luck. You only need to spend $97 for a premium membership if you're only looking to apply for jobs on Want to Buy or Hire a freelancer.
