I recently acquired an expired domain with a strong authority. It used to be an old restaurant that closed down, and I've managed to recover the old pages with their links and traffic. Right now, I'm experiencing good rankings with just 10 pages, and I'm getting a lot of clicks, but the issue is that it's mostly branded traffic. My keywords are related to the restaurant's name and menu.
I assume that if I decide to transition this website to something else and remove the restaurant-related keywords from the homepage, my traffic and rankings might drop. So, my question is, what should I do with it?
Do you have any ideas for transforming this website into a different niche?Should I remove the keywords from the homepage to target a new topic, even if it means losing the current traffic boost?Are there any specific topics you recommend that work well with AI-generated content?
