Why does he need to think something is up? He comes your way every day to deliver the mail. Anonymous delivery means that you don't put a return address on it, don't know if delivery confirmation will work then.

They won't I have tried it. They will put your package on auction, they will open it and give it out.
Unless the mailman knows you he will return it to you.
Remember he is just doing the job of picking up packages, he is not an custom's agent inspecting your things.

Use stampsdotcom(cheaper than USPS), ship the package(s) do a scan form and bring it to a post office. You must have a return address on it or it will not be accepted by USPS. Depending on where you are from, see if there are any places in the area that rent mailboxes besides the post office to use as your return address.
