USPS Help

I dont know whether this is category should i post or not but I hope soemone will help me

One of my friend have sent me Used Iphone using USPS. And gave me tracking number, He sent me on 24th of Jan 2011.

When i enter trackign number

It says

Label/Receipt Number: LC07 XXXX XXXX X
Class: First-Class Mail International
Service(s): International Letter
Status: Acceptance

same status was on 24th and today also (31st Jan) same status.

I am from India

Will i get it or not?

USPS does not offer tracking for outside the US as the mail gets handed to another party for other counties... all you have is that it was accepted by the USPS on the 24th and it will not report anything more than that.

from what i see it doesnt tell you theyre not. but how the iphone fit in a letter envelope? maybe he sent without case -_-. seems weird to me.

According to USPS

First-Class Mail International

Ship virtually anywhere at reasonable prices.

The most economical way to send letters, large envelopes, small packages, postal cards, printed matter, and small packets 4 pounds and under, worldwide.

it will likely take at least 18 days to arrive with you, as it went unregistered or insured you have to hope there are no local postmen in your area looking out for packages like this that they could steal

Lets hope for the best I think you will get it within 10 days. Lets hope postman will deliever a package to you

I don't know about india, but in lots of other countries, the tracking number stays the same when it reaches the destination country. So now you might have to start tracking it from India's equivalent of USPS.com. Since it's not priority and only 1st class, tracking may be unavailable outside of the US.

It's probably just stuck in customs.
