USPS: Delivered, to Original Sender???

Hi there! Sorry if this is not the correct category to post this, I hope some of you can help me.

On October 25 Gearbest shipped my order to US, I haven't received it and today I checked the tracking number "9261290204310806697559" and it says it was delivered to the original sender, they're from China and I don't think they shipped it there again (also in another forum I read experiences of sellers on eBay that had the same issue and as sellers they didn't received the package either). Has anyone experienced something similar? Does anyone know where my package could be?

That message means that it has been marked as undeliverable, and the post office has initiated a return to sender. The November 5th entry seems to confirm that with the "Insufficient Address" message.

Call your local postmaster with the tracking number, they'll have much better tracking data than the online form, and it's possible (though unlikely) that the package can still be recovered. If it cannot be recovered, get a confirmation in writing that it is being returned to the sender.

If the package cannot be recovered by the post office, contact the seller with the proper mailing address, and request a re-shipment or a refund. If they refuse, initiate a chargeback, using the USPS confirmation and the seller's refusal as evidence to support your claim.

I've handled a fair amount of outbound shipping, and this issue isn't uncommon at all. It could be caused by omitting the apartment number on a multi-unit address, a typo in the street number/name, a ripped label, etc.

In my experience, the package can still be recovered if it's caught by the postmaster on the same day, but three business days is a long shot. There won't be any reverse-tracking visible from the tracking website, so it's anyone's guess how long the return trip will take.
