Lol there are miss information all over this forum..Those people who never use xrumer is now talking about xrumer is dead lol..Xrumer is not just for bunch of profiles..you can do any thing you want from xrumer..Web 2.0, social bookmarkes, forum post and many other quality links..You can also use forum profile to index your backlinks..Its all depend on how you use it..If you'll use bunch of spam backlinks directly to your money site with few anchors text then you're asking for penalty

XRumer is far from dead. It's only dead to people who lack the motivation to try it for new things. Simply selecting create profiles only and spamming links does work....for indexing. If you really want any value out of it, you either have to A) Think of new ways to use it or B) seriously spam on a whole new level.
Worthless links do become worth a little when you have millions....you won't take on any sites with "real" seo done, but imho it works great for little competition (read: geo targeted) keywords.
