Using xml-sitemap...Help me out Please?

Am just creating my new XML sitemap, using XML-sitemap.com and found the old url's in XML sitemap. I don't know why XML sitemap showing my old URL which i already removed from my website. Don't know what to do, why XML isn't showing my new url's?? Confused... Members please help me out.

Why don't you edit the file and remove the old url's? Also you might have broken links.
 
He means, edit the file you generated from xml sitemaps site, but if you have WordPress and you want to add it to webmasters, you can use your site feeds directly.
Other than that, why xml sitemaps showing removed URLs i dont have any idea, why?
 
It will generate all the url from the files present on server (even if you remove it from links). SO remove the file completely from the server and you should be fine.

Okay i will check it.
 
The url probably still exists out there somewhere for if the crawler is still picking it up. Once you generate the file, I would remove is manually and then upload it to your server. Then go into Google webmaster tools and have it re-crawl the sitemap
 
its a minor mistake and know all people but you are new in this fields right.


Don't worry generate sitemap with edit and delete broken then upload it.
