Using www in url structure affects SEO?

Whats your URL structure when building a site?

Hi,
The title probably says everything. What's the best practice? Should I only use https then the domain name or should I use www after https? like https://www.example.com or https://example.com?
Which is cooler in your opinion if SEO has nothing to do with www. :D

I think it's a personal preference. I manage 5 webshops as my fulltime job and we both have www and without. I tend to like the websites without www as I find them easier to access.
 
You won't bother about this thing if you have https://. You may have slight drop when you have http: domain. In my opinion it doesn't make much difference.
 
Many browsers by default stop show www in URL, so it is your choose

According to google you don't have preference for both. Otherthan this you need to follow few SEO factors to get traffic.
 
it doesn't. but using the url without www looks kinda clean. just my opinion.
 
I never go with www. except on a few PBNs for "diversity". If you can have the domain name shorter, then go for it (IMO).
 
using www can be good in case you want to burn it and start over on non www
 
If your website is new, go without the subdomain, it's absolutely not needed in 2019.

interesting, but how about the 301? or it should not be 301'ed?

i think it does not matter as long as you redirect the other to the one you preferred.

So I can go nuts on the WWW version, and when it gets slapped I can just continue with the non-WWW (or vice versa)? Very interesting indeed, I did not know that. Thanks
 
I think the answer to this is a matter of personal preferences. Personally, I do prefer thethe non- as it just seems cleaner to me and better looking.
 
for my opinion without www is good and look more professional. and www is not effect at your seo
 
I won’t affect SEO, so it’s completely up to you. I agree with the guys, www is absolutely unnecessary and URLs look neater without it.
 
Think about it: When was the last time you typed "www" on your computer/phone?
