Using WordPress to promte Clickbank products

Hi, I am new to both BHW and have just decided to try to earn some $$ promoting Clickbank products. I wanted to select two to three similar products to compare and place on WordPress to get some sales, but WordPress does not allow affiliate links. Anybody know how I can get around this?

I think you need to use a URL shortening link like bit.ly although i may be wrong i am just about to get wordpress, hopefully somebody with experience on this can answer, im interested too i was gonna use wordpress with content locking......

you really want the self hosted version of wordpress from http://wordpress.org/

not from http://wordpress.com

As above. Also, if at any point in your marketing career you have problems with affiliate links you can try the following; use a URL shortener, cloak your links or send the lead to a landing page that redirects to the product you are promoting. There is an abundance of information on all of these topics right here on BHW so search for the info if you're unsure what these terms mean.

yeah, install wordpress on your own domain. Don't risk your work on wordpress.com. They could close your account ...

Just buy hosting and a domain. It will make your life easier.

Then, follow meathead's method for driving traffic to your site, and you'll see decent traffic.
