    Hi,

first of all I am new on BHW and I spend few days to read a lot of threads and awesome discussions before registering. I want to thanks you for the greats and usefull resources we can find here.

    I come with one question:

I found a niche, bought a domain and a host, but I wonder, what is the best between using wordpress+plugins or coding on my own ? what do you think by experience ?

coding your own will take up time & you will end up with countless bugs - wordpress is one of the best tools for a reason you can change your theme within a click & then customize it to give it that look you want (making it different - your "own") good luck

I would say to go with WordPress. It helps reduce the amount of time needed to build a base for your website and you can easily build off of it. Also, there are a lot of good plugins that can do things that you want and completely wipe out any time that you would spend coding that yourself.
TLDR: Go with WordPress. If you need your own customizations, they are easy to put in. You can even implement your own PHP functions or just create your own custom plugin(s).

You can use either, depends on what you are comfortable with. In long run, wordpress would be better because of the variety of plugins which are available.

If you know coding, use your own, WP is good but your custom coded site will be faster and more secure. Not to say that I wold not buy anything from a WP side.
