Using two different IP addresses for Twitter (4g and wifi), is this dangerous?

Hey y'all, enjoying the forums so far.

I'm currently getting into Twitter bots. I'm going to try running 4 accounts to begin with. Quick question on the IPs though. I understand that some people have said they have been fine running around 4-5 accounts on a single IP, however what about it the IP address is changing?

For instance my bot would be running the accounts on one IP address but then I would also like to login with my phone on 4G and perform manual actions on the accounts. Is this likely to raise any red flags? It seems like a pretty human action to me as most people will be using Twitter on their mobile device but would also sometimes login on a home wifi and change IP.

Looking forward to your answers!

Cheers

Hey @kexkex - you should be fine doing that, it's very much a 'human action', some people have ISP's like CenturyLink that have dynamic IP address so the IP is changing continually.

I personally stick with 1 IP per account and as long as your settings are low you shouldn't have any issues. I have many accounts that I've never had to phone verify 6+ months in.

Slow and steady (IMO) wins the race.
