Using Twitter Trends Effectively.....

Hey guys,

Is there any way to change the trends on your twitter account so the trends are worldwide instead of local? I want to target worldwide trends instead of these small local ones....havent seen any way on the app just a way to change it to another location.....

The button to get to that is on the left under the who to follow thing.
