Hey,

Over the last couple months I have been testing out using triond.com to submit spun articles with links. My links have improved a lot, however I cannot be 100% sure it was due to triond, as I Also used other methods.

BEFORE YOU KEEP READING - I am still an SEO noob so please let me know what you think of the method

What I did:
Triond is meant to earn money from views on your articles, HOWEVER, the money you earn is something like 1c/100 views (almost nothing). So do not think about that part. (I make about 10c a month from views on 100 posts).
The use of triond is to get some high PR links, and SEO optimized pages linking to your website. I take a spun 300+ words article and post it onto triond with one or two in-text links.

Once the article is posted, I head on over to 247backlinks.info, and submit the spun article link, I put about 10 keywords in for it and put over 1k backlinks.

Once this is done, I go to dripblast.com and do a drip blast to the 1k backlinks from 247backlinks.

I do this for every page on my website for the page's respective keywords.

My website is 2 months old, and is ranked on 1st or 2nd page of all the keywords, getting 1000-5000 searches per month.

Other things I did:
post on weefi.net <- 1k backlinks
post on freeadsplanet.com <- 1k backlinks
tweet each post
put on google + profile
Added google+ profile to site with image for search

Triond used to have an adsense rev sharing policy if I remember correctly. Not sure if it has it now, but when I was starting, I'd make 3-4$ from triond and $10 from adsense. Back then they were also more strict about moderation. I'll give it a try.

Triond sure gives you benefits and helps you get ranked, however it's a matter of time when they will disallow links, before it was great place to put reviews with backlinks o hubs like hubpages etc, and if you write unique review you don't even need bother with your article being indexed fast. Unfortunately they no longer allow add links, at least hyperlinks, though it could be still great place to get direct traffic from.

yes, it is still a great place to get direct traffic...some of my articles got 10k+ pageviews withing a week!
