Using Torrents For CPA Offers...

I did this successfully for a couple of day, but then I started using my mac instead of my pc and It didn't really bring in any money, like $0. Is it because of the mac or what, let me know your guys' thoughts....

How were you doing this exactly? I dl torrents daily but not entirely certain who is hosting the original file and where. I see some people piggy back off new torrents and re-release it as their own with their name or url in the torrent title. I assume people will visit that site and click a few ads. What are the legal problems with this?
 
you could make money with pay per install..Search the forum you will find some info about this
 
Well, I re use adult videos for my torrents and I archive them with a password of the first word on the second page of optin form of the cpa offer. I put the video, and a text file that they read to get the video in the same file so that they'll have both when the torrent is done dling.

The first time I did this I made like 20 bucks in a day, the second time I did it I made like 80 bucks in a day. After that, my cp broke down, and I started using my mac and i never got any money.

I'm thinking that maybe the cpa network caught on... But i'm not sure...
 
the torrent method is very old and i suggest not doing with CPA networks. many people get caught if they do not do it properly....
 
i personally made some good money doing that. and i still do it casually as my cpa networks still pay me.
 
I would go for dating offers which may actually help these guys get off porn and some networks won't care about what you're doing.
 
Do not torrent sites ban you guys for password protected archives? This method is almost not working now.
 
I don't think they'd ban you for this, I've seen a lot of ppl doing this without a problem ....but they soon post the code on the comments thread that's the problem

I guess a pay per install would work if it's quick, preferably something related to the torrent , like a movie player for a movie I uploaded saying "this movie can be opened by this player" or something like that then you provide the link ....

when doing torrents + cpa offers, does offer needs to be incentive offer so that you wont get ban by your cpa network?
 
Smart People do think of new ways to do this, and they keep it to themselves because it's the smart thing to do.
 
It still works fine anyway. You just need to find the right offer, and cover your tracks well. Now that's the hard part. Getting the traffic and conversions is easy.

Yes i invented it in late 2005, and spread it to people in early 2006.....made 50k on it when i was the only one doing it, went on to better things, so i gave it away

There is still a boatload of cash to be made in promoting CPA Offers in torrents.

As others have said in this thread, in order to be successful with this method you need to know what you're doing and cover up any digital footprints that a CPA network would see stats coming from torrents.

Something else you may want to consider is to be creative with this.

For example, what is the most popular torrents? Porn.

What can you do to tap into this massive income stream?

Simple.

Lace in strategic CPA offers like Fling.com that is geotargeted like YouPorn does.

I've done this in the past when I was experimenting with areas to promote Fling when it hit the industry and I made quite a suitcase of cash.

Just be prepared to put in more hours researching proper methods of doing this - than you would spend actually implementing it.

When you know you put in more hours researching, you know you're on the right path.
 
with the torrent method has anyone had any email from there affiliate manager about follow ups?? My mate had an email because he had lots of people joining and no one was following up and they got suss.

Has anyone been doing the torrent method for a few months and got paid etc??
