Using the Same Card for Multiple Ad Accounts in BM?

I want to run multiple ad accounts under the same Business Manager. Can I use the same credit/debit card for all of them safely, or will Facebook flag it?
Has anyone done this successfully? What’s the best way to manage multiple accounts without triggering payment or account issues?
A safer approach is using different cards or VCCs for each account. That way, even if one goes down, others won’t be tied.

I wouldn’t rely on one card across multiple accounts. FB’s system is super sensitive about shared payment methods.

Best practice: 1 account = 1 card = 1 billing profile. It takes more setup time, but saves you headaches long-term.

I’ve done this before, but I only used the same card on accounts that were already warmed up. New accounts get flagged fast if you attach the same payment method. My advice: start each account with a small test spend or use separate cards for brand-new accounts, then you can consolidate later once they’re stable.

You can technically use the same card, but too many accounts on one card often triggers FB review or restriction.
Thanks for the insight! Yeah, I’ve heard about FB reviewing cards when there are too many accounts linked. Are you able to run multiple accounts on the same card without issue if you keep the spend moderate? Or do you spread them across different cards to avoid any risk?

I usually keep one verified card per 2–3 accounts max. Spread it out, otherwise you’ll run into payment holds.
Good strategy, that makes sense! Keeping 2–3 accounts per card sounds like a solid balance. Do you find any specific thresholds (spend or frequency) where FB starts triggering holds? Also, do you rotate the cards every few months to keep things fresh, or just stick to the same ones?

For high-risk niches, I avoid reusing cards completely. Fresh card per account keeps things safer.
That’s a solid point, especially with high-risk niches. Fresh cards definitely seem like the safer route to avoid any unwanted flags. Do you use VCCs (Virtual Credit Cards) for those, or stick to physical cards? Just curious how you manage them on a larger scale without triggering too many issues.

Using the same card for testing low-budget campaigns is fine, but don’t scale spending on multiple accounts at once or it will get flagged.
Good point! Keeping the budget low for testing seems like a safer move. Once you scale, though, do you focus on increasing spend on just one account at a time, or do you try to spread it evenly across multiple? I’m wondering if scaling gradually on each account avoids triggering flags, or if Facebook sees it all as one big risk.

Some people rotate cards and keep a log of which card is on which account. Saves headaches if FB asks for verification.
That’s a solid tip — I also rotate cards and keep a simple log (account → card → date). Makes verification requests from FB way easier. Do you use any tools for this or just Google Sheets?

You can use the same card across accounts, but Facebook may flag it if they detect similar behavior patterns. For safest management, vary payment methods, use different cards where possible, establish unique account behaviors (ad timing, content style), and rotate IPs. Consistent, distinct habits per account matter more than payment method differences.

1 card per account max.
Dont listen to people that say you can use the same card across multiple profiles.
NEVER do that

Its possible, but its not good,
Your account get flagged, sometimes both the account die,
not just 1

Yeah, you can use the same card, just don’t go crazy with big spend jumps on multiple accounts at once—keep it steady and spread it out.

well you can use the same card, but i think FB will detect it and accounts might be flagged. For multi accs use gologin and nice proxies, for FB business accounts just buy activated cards from internet, i do like that

Yes, you can often use the same card across multiple ad accounts within a Business Manager, but monitor your bank statements closely for any unusual activity. Many businesses do this successfully by setting up clear naming conventions and budgets for each account, and ensuring spending stays within reasonable limits to avoid triggering flags. Consider utilizing Facebook’s billing management tools to track expenses across all accounts effectively.

As long as everything is whitehat don’t worry, but when you are going greyhat/blackhat better keep it seperate

I wouldn't recommend that because if one of the accounts gets flagged with that card, others might too

Using the same card for a few accounts can work, but too many triggers flags—best to mix cards and keep billing info clean.

I usually use one card for a couple of accounts max, any more and FB might flag it, safest is separate cards or at least mixing cards with old trusted accounts.
