I am looking at hiring telesales staff to generate leads and close sales of SEO campaigns. I am looking for adice from anyone who has outsourced before. Did you supply business lists or get them to do their own research? Any companies you would recommend? I was thinking of looking in the phillipines? Did you work on comission only or basic rate plus comission?

Thanks

I'm just gonna go ahead and give you guys a tip. If YOU cannot sell, FORGET about hiring staff, instead just hire a SALES company and not individual workers...

Now if you want a better advice, GET ON THE PHONE and call a thousand times; all you need is practice and a pair of balls...

Agreed. I do close deals on my own, but I cant do everything. I need a sales person who knows what they're doing, so I can focus on the SEO.

Well, if you got money then you won't have an issue hiring.
A few years back when I was getting started and I was broke, I formed a small team by offering amazing commissions + insanely high bonuses.

If you know how to get it done, just go and hunt for some salesman, make sure to prepare a set of documents to explain everything you need to and make sure to prepare legal agreements and so on. If you are short on money, the "bigger" you appear to be, the better.

I used Craiglist and it worked perfectly fine, give it a shot; if not just use the usual elance/odesk, but have fun filtering...

Yeah, I've seen companies do that, but most sales people are complete shit at selling SEO for some reason. the burn out rate is pretty high in SEO sales due to the technical element involved.

But you are right on giving crazy commissions.....but then I get screwed on the profits AND I have to do all the work :( In the days of automation SEO, its not a big deal....but now its a lot of work to do proper SEO...

The search continues....
