Using stolen scripts

I really cant afford scripts right now, usually I would buy them but right now I do not have the funds.

I am looking at a mass blog creator. What is the risk of getting caught using a stolen script such as this?

If you know a bit about scripting, change it a bit and remove the footprints, then I'd say the risk will be near zero

I can change HTML and CSS, but dont have much clue with PHP.

Isn't there a way I could password protect the script files or something?

If the script is only for your personnal use, it doesn't really matter, no one can access the source code of a php script, so no one can tell whether you have bought it, stole it, or code it yourself

Yeah, if by personal use you mean generating tons of blogs to spam google with?

In what case would it not be personal?

I mean "personnal use" for "using the script yourself", instead of giving it away or selling it

The script I intend to use right now is probably rs2bmi, would I be safe using that if I redesign the admin login screen for example?
