Hi

I have a YouTube channel that is growing well with 5000 subscribers.

I do reviews of clothing and accessories. So far I have only been using my own footage. Both video and sound. All 100% original. I monetize all videos.

What I want to try now is to do reviews of clothing and accessories that I see on actors from popular Hollywood films so I want to use short clips 5-10 seconds from films and trailers. My videos are around 10 minutes on average.

I DO NOT plan to monetize these videos with Adsense. I will only make them to generate more subscribers for my channel. I will still include a short clip at the end of each video to tell viewers to check out my webstore and blog.

Will I get my channel into trouble with this strategy? If there is risk of being banned I would not want to do it.

Can someone who has experience comment on this?

I think unless you monetize those views you will be safe.
You will receive copyrights infringement but not strikes.

In my experience they don't ban you they just slap a 3rd party notice to get all the ad revenue
