I just bought scrapebox and as you can imagine i am starting to play around with it. The problem that i have is when using scrapebox to scrape Google URLs

Okay, here is what i do,

1) I type in site:edu into the foot print section
2) In the keyword section i put "cooking tips"
3) I enter my tested proxies
4) I have Google selected (no other search engine is selected)

I click the harvesting button, and nothing will happen

However, if i do this exact process , but with a different search engine like Yahoo, somehow URL will show up.

Can someone tell me why this is happening

Hey, i recently bought Scrapebox and can you believe i already have ran into a problem! Right now all I am doing is playing around with it.

I have been playing around with it, and the only thing that is giving me problems is when i use scrapbox for Google.

Okay, here is what i do,

1) I type in site:edu into the foot print section
2) In the keyword section i put "cooking tips"
3) I enter test proxies
4) I only select Google

Then i start harvesting, and no URL will be harvested.

But if i do the exact same thing but only switch the search engine to yahoo for example i will get results

Can someone tell me why this is happening

I'd guess that your proxies are worn out, especially if you are using free ones. I often experience the same results if I use free proxies that are over a few hours old. If using free proxies you may have to hunt up a few hundred in order to get satisfactory results.

I find that G will shut down immediately or else at around 900-1000 results. Is this about what you get?

No, see i already know that Google knows about scrapbox and such, and so i set scrapebox to bring back 10 results , and nothing happens. But the proxies are fine i keep checking them.

Is it that Google is blocking the program from working?

I don't knowb ut don't see how it could block it, per se but then I use SB and XRumer for different reasons than most users. One thing that you should remember is that G indexes Y's search results eventually anyway, so you will show up but it might take some time.
