Using RDPS to host websites

I used to know someone who would host his websites on RDPS, no clue why.. Is there any benefit to this instead of paying a hosting service..?

I think no, because electrocity is hi-priced now.
 
Can you explain what exactly are you talking about?
We can produce different scenarios for projects that require high cpu, ram, but I don't understand what exactly you are talking about. If you are talking about RDP and hosting are different things.

probably for more privacy, but just a normal ps should work fine

you never know when RDPs get taken down
