Newbie warning!! OK, so I followed the steps and I think I got everything right, I got a list of proxies, tested them with charon and export/imported to proxyfirewall...but when I go to access a webpage it doesn't work. I set up the rules to rotate open proxies and all, but when I go to any page it just says "IE cannot display this page", no matter what site I went to...any advice?

Test the proxy by inputting it directly into the browser. If it still doesn't work, it's the Checking that screwed you.
If it does, it's Proxyfirewall that's screwing you. Run the checker again in Proxyfirewall to see if it likes the ones you gave it.
Report back when you're done.

ok, so I put 59.108.23.70:1080 in the browser settings, same crap...but charon can't be boning me on all IPs....I'm following all of your advice, I just must be missing something...maybe I'll give it another read, it was 1am when I was trying it
OK, I found the part where I drifted off but it really didn't solve anything. Charon provides much different results than proxyfirewall when it's checking. Proxyfirewall is giving all 0 results, although I didn't have a list of 3000. So maybe I need to compile that in order to fine a few good proxies...what is the range that you have seen proxies last out there?

Some are fast, some are slow. Depends on your own connection too.
