Hi guys.
This forum may not be the best place for this question but I've spent a lot of time here reading so I feel most comfortable asking here.
I've recently gotten xrumer and a similar tool but despite spending the last 5 hours searching, reading, search, reading...I can't find so much as a beginners tutorial on using these tools. Not even a hint of how to use them (in newbie language) at the software websites themselves! Which seems ridiculous to me but then again, obviously I'm clueless.
How do you use the scrapers? I've tried everything I can think of...
Finding websites of "free proxies" is easy enough (though how many of those will work...) but how the heck do you get the proxy scrapers to do their thing and "scrape."??
To clarify, it is the process of scraping or otherwise getting proxy lists loaded into these tools that I'm stumped on. Soo frustrating considering I'm sure the answer is painfully simple and obvious. Which is possibly why finding any help is impossible...because it's just obvious to everyone but me? haha
Aside from an ill-advised foray into organic chemistry and Ecstasy synthesis in my younger years I don't think I've EVER spent 5 hours looking for an answer to a single question and not found it. Heck I though it would be an easy find. Software instructions (regardless of where the software comes from or what it is for) are always easy to find. After all, you can't be the only one to have ever asked the question and so an answer is usually prominently displayed in the first couple goog results. Well, not this time I guess.
