Roll the dice, and get started, just be very frugal with your money, don't spend more than 50-70% of your per sale amount, start small, and try multiple campaigns, with variations of txt and keywords if you can. Track everything.

ppc + cpa is best when you are marketing an offer that pays at least $4 per lead.

If you're relying ppc on $1.4 - $1.6 per lead... you're just wasting your money.

    Let's do a little math!

Let us say you are spending $.2 per click and have a daily budget of $25. That will give you 125 clicks.

If you get at least 2% of the clicks converted, then it should be at least 2.5 clicks and that is about $4. That is way too short for an income. You must have a good ctr and conversion. You MUST have at least 12% of the 125 clicks to convert in order to break even.

But if you are hitting about 25% ctr and conversion, and so you are hitting a JACKPOT! (and that is very rare with cpa offers specially with zip and email submits)

I had been a fan of adwords + cpa but damn.. if you're converting well, the advertiser of your network will shave you and even ban you!

Been banned by several advertisers in my network for having high EPC. They can't blame me, I have promoted their offers via adwords. Today, I'm having 100% conversion out of 4 clicks. But few days ago, I was sending at least 15 leads a day for 6 consecutive days without a single conversion!

So just be careful... you will be draining your money fast enough if you don't know what to do. :)

(By the way I'm still running adwords ads because I still have about 10 more $100 adwords accounts! - but I'm getting this 3 campaigns to complete and never use it for zip/email promotions...)

    cheers!!!

It depends what type of CPA offer you are going to promote but just keep in mind.. Google and Bing (adwords especially) will ban you for Rebill type offers and even many CPS offers.

Just be careful, watch what other people are promoting and try to replicate in your own way. Also doesnt hurt to reach out and talk to an Ad Manager to make sure you won't get your account banned.

I've been banned from both Adwords and Bing many times.. so I know!
