Using online forums to advertise my product

Hello guys , so i am currently building a shopify store around a car brand , it going to be an accessories online store , i saw big demand on this kinda product , people searched in my store about this type of model , but when i checked facebook , it didn't have any interest , so i stated searching on some online forums that i can advertise in , so my question = is buying ad space on an online forum could get me sales ?

I wouldn't really buy forum adspace, never used it but as far as I know its not that converting. But replying to threads with your store link / quora / reddit can get you a shit ton of traffic. Look at my threads I have shared some guides on this (Xposed for quora).

Keep in mind that posting product links on Quora and Reddit can also get you flagged for spam.

The answer is yes. But the question should be how much should you spend.

If the quality of the traffic is high, I would recommend spending a decent chunk of your marketing budget on the forum with the best traffic. I would also recommend trying multiple different forums. Start from the biggest forum you know, and work your way down a few to see which ones are the best fit.

I contacted a forum that gets about 250k a mouth , they said that i can buy a banner ad for a mouth for 80$

Well now it seems like there's only 1 way to tell if that'll work... Anyways $80 shouldn't be that expensive compared to the revenue you should expect from your business
