It just came to our attention that a nulled copy of AutoBlogged has been spreading around that contains a trojan. The copy of AutoBlogged (2.5.74) includes a file from another site, imresult.com. Since that site is no longer up we can't verify if the contents were malicious, contained a backdoor, or were just blackhat seo in nature (i.e., inserting links, ads). A google search shows that several thousand sites were using the nulled copy.

In investigating this, we found that a number of other plugins that have been infected as well and this has been going on for at least six months.

This is just a reminder that if you use nulled plugins, you should use tools like Exploit Scanner (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exploit-scanner/) to check the stuff you use!

EDIT: And just so people don't feel like they have to pirate it, we are letting anyone buy a single license this week (until Jul 2) for just $20 (normally $59.95). Just use coupon code NONEEDTOPIRATE when you check out.
