Using no code app/web builders vs learning how to code

Hey guys, I need your suggestion for this should I learn how to code or just use no code app/web builders.

There's such a vast majority of languages, that you might learn one, but need another, for a good portion of your app. So I would suggest the low-to-no code apps. Then you could pick it apart and learn so much more, reverse engineering your own app. Or doing so from other'finished' projects and products. You find the essentials and styles quicker. Good luck!

The right question is WHY do you want to build websites (code or codeless)? Let's suppose you already know how to code, what's next?

1. If you can get a good sallary as a coder, go for it, if this is what you want to do.
2. If you can get clients who want websites you can easy build with no codding and this is what you want to do , go for it.
3. If you know what website you need to build to make money as affiliate, ecom or else, do it and make money.

Basically, since the dawn of networked computing, no-code promise has been hovering over people that despise
looking at code and failing to deliver on its promise (Dreamweaver, FrontPage, HyperCard, whatever).

The biggest problem that you will encounter lies in the fact that even if such tool is suitable for your application,
there is a looming danger that company will vanish or change its services in such a way that your capabilities will
vanish over night.

Therefore, if you can stomach it, learn some code to create a minimum of product that you need.

If there is no other option, choose something like Webflow that has at least code exporting function so that you
can get away from tool provider if needed and get someone to continue to maintain your product.

It's 21 century, that's no need to learn programming at all.
Use builders for extreme effective results.

I think anyone who asks this question doesn't have a genuine interest in coding.

no-code apps:
1) you are locked in
2) premium pay model
3) may be missing things you can do with programming
4) takes minimal time/experience to make a decent site
5) must obey their TOS

learning to code
1) takes time
2) free (not counting renting a server and domain)
3) freedom

if you have money ideas...don't want to spend weeks learning something, pay up and do the no-code. most are very cheap or have free tiers.
if you are passionate about free & freedom, learn code. html/css/js is easy. wordpress is even easier. i guess they almost count as no-code.

look at shopify for instance. pay $29 and get full blown ecommerce site in 2 hours.
WP/Woocommerce would take little more time. Custom coding something would take weeks.

learn coding !

Preferred language is python, as it is now the #1.
It's the hard way, but it opens you so many doors for your future.

There are lots of FLOSS low and no-code solutions as well... KNIME, Code-Red, Camunda CE, UI.Vision, Selenium...

There are lots of "Hybrid" environments that make it easier when and if you start coding... Jupyter, Bunderhub, the git GUIs (lab/cola/hub)... all the way up to local container orch... your Kubernetes and Docker Guis of the world...

Hell, LibreOffice, Wordpress, Drupal and even SSGs are different skill level variations of no-code low-code environs..

Still... learn to code... even if in your spare time while using other tools to get around it... But don't let it stop you from acting NOW... there's an app for that!
