Using multiple suppliers

Hi,

I am just wondering whether or not it is advisable to use multiple suppliers on my dropshipping store. I understand this could cause issues with deliveries and more. Is there any way around this? Or am I better off just using the one supplier.

This will be my first shop, for what its worth.

I always use multiple suppliers when I make store from Aliexpress. There is no problem if your are organized and use apps for order fulfillment.

What about for sending the products to customers? It would be multiple deliveries coming from different suppliers at different times. Is this not bad practice?

Would it be a problem for you if you ordered something and it came in two parcels?

Since most people are dropship from Aliexpress, and most Aliexpress suppliers have a limited range of products, why would you limit what you can sell to just one supplier.

As I know ,some suppliers change products frequently,
you should always use multiple suppliers

Ok, I just had read somewhere its best not to use multiple suppliers because of this, as it might cause confusion.

Any tips in regards to using multiple suppliers? How many should one use to keep things reasonable to manage? 2-4? 4-6? What is the best way (or app) to manage multiple suppliers in your store?

It makes it much easier for you if you use app or plugin that automates product importing, and ordering.

Check out Ali2woo which is a good paid option.

Or Ezusy for a basic free option, also Shopmaster has a free option, which is quite useful.

They will all help you mange your store.

I already have your services kept in mind, in case I struggle with the setting up of my store. I want to try it out myself initially, as I feel like it would be beneficial to know how to set up a store.

I am already working on getting started up. I have a separate question I was hoping yourself or someone else could answer. I understand I should set up either sole proprietorship or an LLC for my store. Which is better? I hear LLC is better, but perhaps a little more complex and costly. Also, should I set up the LLC before the store, or can it be done after? My niche will be Jewelry, for what its worth.

Glad I can help. My advise would be open your store, see if you can make some money first and then think about registering your business. There is no point registering a business that may not work. IMO
