Hi,

I recently started using a second Facebook profile with BM that I bought to run ads to a separate Shopify store, as a means of avoiding revenue stops due to random bans by Facebook.
I am using Multilogin and also making sure to keep everything completely separate between the stores and the FB profiles to avoid raising red flags, so different BMs, different payment methods in FB, different domains of the stores, different products etc, however, there is one thing I'm unsure of:
Someone told me that if you are using the same PayPal account to accept payments across multiple stores, Facebook is able to sniff that and connect the stores/FB profiles because the code in the Shopify checkout contains your unique merchant ID.
Would be grateful for any insights on that. Is anyone here successfully running ads with the same setup and mine but still using the same PayPal account?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt they go that far, though it's possible. If you are running WH it shouldn't be too big of a concern. The only real way to know is to try.

Thanks. I am running white-hat. The only thing that I'm doing that is a bit borderline is that I'm using Youtube clips to create videos for product testing and that got me 2 copyright strikes on my original FB profile, hence why I thought it's safer to now test with a separate profile first, while still remaining agile, as getting content done takes ages.
But I want to avoid FB linking my 2 personal profiles and possibly banning one or both.

Hopefully, someone who follows a similar strategy can still chime in.

no one can tell you in 100% whats going on in the backhadnd of facebook but i can tell you from my experinace i used to runm BH Camp trough fb ad account and using shopify unique safesite no viro items no brands no anything regular process but seems like recently (1~2 month until now ) the average life time of my safesite is not longer than 1days however they are have the option to do so i will not be wonder if they will catch your duplicates torugh the sniffing of the payment ID of PP torugh the intergration wityh shopify.

You are saying you wouldn't be surprised if they would check that, right?

I think that fb has access to payment data and if ur 1st store got bad fb score , than then will ban everything and your payment processors too stripe and paypal so when u will open new shopify and new fb account, u still will need to open new stripe and pp, but im not sure

I think you should be fine in regards to the paypal account, that will not cause problem. Imagine a person having 2 stores and using agency A to promote shop A and agency B to promote shop B. Facebook would not ban them just because they use the same paypal for payment.

Main areas to focus on is the rest of your setup.
