Was thinking about trying to use Mturk to build some backlinks, but not sure how to approach it. Has anyone tried it, or can offer me some advice.

Seems a fairly easy way to build some links for 5-10 cents each, from different users, from different ip. And we can target the geographic location of the workers. We could even make it a qualification that only allows BHW members to do the hits.

Lets see if we can build a method in this thread. It would allow a infanate source of cheap backlinks, and allow some BHW members to make a little coin in the process to help them on there IM ways.

Ideas, thoughts, suggestions?

I know it sounds tempting, but don't give in. Lemme tell you what will happen...

There are specific forums, JUST for marketing and JUST for backlinks. They are ranked to be some of the worst sites on Google. Your Mturk users, who do these jobs en masse', will spam your backlinks, many of them to the same spam forum, Google will see, and deduce that your site, is spam too.

Don't do it. Mturk is known for many things, but quality is not one of them. Take if from a guy who tried to get them to write simple articles and was spammed with full pages copy/pasted from major online gaming magazines (honestly, did they really think I wouldn't notice?).

And before you say you can just reject all the bad entries, bear in mind Mturk will ban you if you reject too many.

mturk sucks have tried getting backlinks and all it did was damage my website rankings

Well i think you can control that by adding a link list. go to this page "whatever (dot) com", place a the link to my site. and have them provide a sentence or something from the page for confirmation.

My idea was never to allow them to go to a random page and place spammy links.

To be able to put the link list in and allow it to rotate between users would take some sort of script.
