Using MNF plus Market Samurai

I have found some good keywords using MNF and am using Market Samurai to further research these keywords. (Is this a good idea?) My problem is that SEOC in MS seems to be for "broad match" when MNF uses "exact" to determine MOB.


Should MS and MNF be used in conjunction with each other and if so, does anyone have any tips on doing so?

Change MS to exact match, like MNF and you won't have a problem.

I personally like using phrase match, because it takes into account long-tail keywords.
 
Market samurai is a good software but I think it over analyses what you have to do in my experience. You can get a bit paranoid about too many statisitics. I think MNF breaks down everything just right without the over analysis.
 
Yeah MS does seem to have a butt load of info that can
be confusing at times.

So should I stick with MNF to find my niche keywords?
 
If you want you can download MS and use the keyword feature for free anyway last time i checked. They both get there results from the same sources anyway so if its keywords your researching which in my opinion is more than half of the researching done to build a site then use which ever one your eye likes :)
