using keywords like hostgator, bkuehost in campaigns?

Hey all,
I remember trying tho use keywrods like *hostgator review* in a campaign before but it didnt work for some reason. I didnt pay much attention as it wasnt as important at the time.

Has anyone tried it before, if yes, did adwords approve it? Anything specific i should be doing to get them approved?

Promoting Adwords campaigns is not that easy my friend and specially looking at the spelling mistakes you have i dont see they approving your ad copy at all...

Usually the affiliate company (assuming you are selling their stuff on your site) will send you a warning quickly to curb your use of their search terms. Adwords or bing will approve it, but your affiliate account wont last long.

Hostgator has an affiliate policy where they warn all there affiliates that they cannot bid on hostgator terms on Adwords

We bid on such terms all the time. We just use many many small accounts.

You can bid on such keywords, just make sure not to use the trademarked words directly in your ad creative text. Then you will be flagged for sure

To get trademarked words in your ad copy you need to use ValueTrack.

Targeting branded keywords is easy when using a cloaker. With a cloaker you will have to bypass two filters:
1. Adwords restrictions (bypass their bots review, manual reviewers and 3rd party services they use to detect your site)
2. The affiliate reviewers.

A good cloaker can easily take care of 1, however, to cover the second option, you will have to research for their footprints.
