Using IMto sell health insurance?

So i'm licensed to sell insurance in my state, so I was thinking: why not use SEO and other IM techniques to sell insurance policies?? the real question is: where and how can i get leads that i can turn into customers?? has any had experience with this before?

I would start with a site and target a small geo area in your state on google places and expand from there
