Using hidden links

I was just wondering if using hidden links would be able to rank a site? ive seen a few different people talking about it but not really any good info on it. I have a website with funny pictures and so on which has 1 mill views /mo and was wondering if putting a hidden div link in for another site would improve its rank in anyway?

Well, it will help but only for short period, unless you wont get caught or ratted on. You can use complex JS functions to hide your links, use cloaking techniques to prevent SE from seeing this specific hidden div etc.
