instead of using keywords would using hashtags work better #proteinshake instead of protein shake?

Would hashtag be worse than regular keyword somehow?

i use twitter and when i used less # i got more post like but maybe it's only in tweeter

definitely works on twitter, but I don't think google cares much about them

Actually hashtags is good for social sites because it's show your post somewhere when anyone search for the keyword related to your post or website.

I like to use a couple of hashtags in my Twitter bio. I think it may give a slight boost in their own search algorithm.

Most of them use #hashtags in social media sites, so am not sure it is working in local citations.

I would avoid hashtags in citations it will most definitely mess up your keywords.
