Using H1?

Hi there,

H1 still confuse me. When page had <title>, then on the content im using H2,H3,H4. When im checking competitors, even SEO agencies and websites where was SEO done by professionals, i dont see any h1 tag in code at all ( pages, blog posts..), just titles, and then H2, H3 etc...

Till now i was thinking the role of H1 is taken by <title> tag.



Example - as i do it usual :

<h2>Best Plumbers in New York</h2>

<h3>Price comparsion</h3>


Should it look like this? What will be the benefits / difference? :
