Bad idea? G-drive is just so useful and easy to use, but I realized this morning I have all my blackhat notes including URLs, notes on everything from "Fake Yelp Overview" to "Fake GMB Notes" etc...

Has anyone ever heard of people getting caught this way? Is it even legal for them?

Nobody knows for sure. But I do think you should follow your mind. In all, they have bigger things to worry about.

Google knows everything but i don't think they actually read text data.

Better save such data in a USB flash drive and avoid cloud based storage.

its okay , but google looks up the data , but I am store my personal transections id , nothing happen till now !

No harm, to your GMB. I actually reported google support with a lot of fake gmbs on a file but they dumb people said " you don't blame them they are real and belong to their respective owner" and fact was they were all fake created by me kept on a google sheet.

Very unlikely. I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think google would go to that length.

Google definitely parses EVERYTHING stored on its servers.

BUT it’s very unlike that they're using this data for SEO. Not reliable, prone to errors.

I don't think they'll go over it, but I wouldn't store it there either.

You're keeping information handy for them. Whenever something goes wrong, they'll have all evidence to catch you.

You're overthinking
I'm sure a lot of users in here do the same

My personal opinion is your data is secure. Google ensures everyone's data security. So they don't access or crawl your data.

Yes they do have access to your files and folder on the drive as your cloud drive is been hosted by Google's data centre.

I have moved my cloud drive to decentralised cloud provider. I use the Threefold cloud.

There are others like Sia, Helium etc.

The best part of these decentralised cloud is they are very cheap at the moment, and no one has access to your notes as the cloud is p2p. No fancy datacenter that could compromised easily.

OP, you gotta stop reading /r/conspiracy and get your sh1t together.

I'd just store things outside of Google Drive to be safe. I'm sure most people would be okay with G Drive but I'm paranoid so I sleep better taking my aggro stuff off Google Drive.
