Using generic site name vs niche site for conversion?

I have a very generic domain name like "xygreen.com".

I want people who tried it to share some data about conversions using that type of site with a subfolder (xygreen.com/cooloffer-name) or subdomain (cooloffer-namexygreen.com) VS using a niche site, which worked better?

Individual niche sites work best in terms of conversions. Cleaner name. Subfolder projects are good because they get the authority of the main domain, so you build all backlinks for all of them, but ion terms of cleaner, easier to convert domains, the niche ones work best

And do you get one domain for every offer or 1 for every niche and put same niche offers in the same site?

May I ask how many domains you have acquired till now doing it?
