Using freelancer exchanges (e.g. Upwork and Fiverr) anonymously

Hi guys,

lets say you are a cool web designer in your full time job. You want to make some side money and do that stuff in your free time as well without your company knowing or tracing it. Lets say you register under a different name on a freelancer exchange and recieve money.

I saw you could recieve it in your paypal account. Lets say your paypal account is registered to your real name but has a cryptic e-mail adress.

0. Are there better ways to accumulate customers (apart from stealing company leads) then these exchanges?
1. Does fiver or the customer ever see my real identity?
2. Does fiver even care?
3. Do these freelancer exchanges work with tax authorities (asking for a friend)?

You should treat online businesses like offline businesses.

I do not know how to convert your first statement on my business case but I am not planing on review exchange. I am wondering if I could do my full time job and earn side money in my free time with the skills/experience I aquired in my full time job without getting in trouble.

NEVER, if you do three way in safe mode.

I started freelancing from my own company as a content writer. Eventually, one day operation manager caught me. But since I was good at my work, he just gave me warning and asked me not to do personal freelancing work in company. That's it. However, after next 2-3 months, I myself left the job and took freelance writing as a full time work.

Yes you can register on these exchanges with a different name and pay your taxes, its more long term and youll be able to sleep at night.

I work with several people who freelancer outside of their regular jobs, several use usernames or what I presume is an alias.

I would say my english skills are average but apparently they are not and again I do not understand that statement (at least not in this conext)

You buy from me and friend buy from you. They can't track us.
