Using free webpage hosts as tests

As I'm still building my almighty scrapebox list I haven't been blasting on fiverr for startup money.

I'm wondering if google ranks the websites that are freely hosted, like .webs or w/e it is.

I want to test out SEO optimization of the site and see how fast I can climb the ranks and what I make with it before I buy the domain.

LOL I made a tripod website that is ranking number one for bahamas air virtual when I was 13, so yeah.. but when it finally made that ranking I have no idea..
