Using Fiverr.com

I have had a mixed bag experience too. I have been selling content writing services on fiverr with a free post on my ezine profile, and the success has been great. however, when i tried buying some backlinks, the guy did give me some lame backlinks, which were not worth the money. He had thousands of testimonials too!

Anyone know of a good gig for article submission? I had someone on fiverr write me a keyword rich article and now I want it submitted everywhere.

it's only 5bucks.. why not try for fun? it won't hurt right? I do post gigs there.. *directory submission and some twitter stuff.. and i do it honestly *w/ passion.. just try it.. it won't risk your life..

Like what? Get a drawing of my face for $5?

Besides the video testimonials, is there anything of real value that I can't get from my normal indian outsourcers? How can I trust a guy who's offering backlinks for $5 when these guys barely have reviews?

I would recommend buying from sellers with really good feedback or contacting previous buyers to see if they were really happy with their service.

I certainly dont count on a fiverr gig helping out any rankings too much but I use it to fluff a clients report here and there. For instance maybe I will purchase a couple nice links for a client and get the boost I need, but I dont want them to think thats all I did for the month. I hire someone on fiverr and add that to the link building reportt. Ive used fiverr for link wheels/pyramids, scrapebox and xrumer blasts. You kinda have to experiment sometimes to find someone who knows what they are doing but I have ran across a few pretty good providers.

most are sh*t, but finally after spending some money, I finally have a good BL Provider. For design jobs Fiverr is just heavenly CHEAP!

I have never trusted the idea of paying someone $4 for work important to me. But, after reading plenty of positives here I will do it.

And I have lived for a few years in a couple of third world countries, I can understand how the dollar goes along way. Something hard to relate to in the US and Europe.

Thanks for turning me on to Fiverr - took me all of 5 minutes, to drop 5 bucks.

I find it best for graphics work. For me to make a banner, it takes at least an hour, as I'm no artist. I hire 2 designers, give them similar, open ended instructions, and pick the best and throw away the other one. For $10, I usually get pretty good work.

On Fiverr the backlinking services seem to focus on one url only. I have a list of around 100 urls that I want to backlink - each with a dozen or so backlinks. Any suggestions. I am pretty sure this can be done on scrapebox but I have a mac.

While there are some decent jobs on Fiverr, a majority are crap. Regardless of the amazing feedback.

Generally speaking, sellers on Fiverr don't give a shit. Why should they? They are only making 4 bucks off of the transaction anyways. At the end of the day I was spending more time monitoring transactions than the benefit I was receiving.

At the end of the day its simply too difficult to manage and the value added isn't all that much.
