using facebook to promote CB product, should it work?

after reading thru so many threads and getting confused about what strategy to use to make money, i'v decided i'd go for some high gravity cb product and promote it using FB and may be twitter...but i'v got some questions...please give your opinions

1- i am obviously using a fake name and id ... so do i need to make this id look REALLY like a real person, or should i complete just the stuff that is necessary. i mean i cant think of a highschool or university etc so do these things matter?

2- although i'v taken the step and willing to work but i have some misgivings...will this method work? i mean do people on facebook still buy cb products through affiliate links?

3- any other advise or method or strategy that can make this thing work for me?
