Barry Schwartz, the owner of SERoundTable, has shared with users that Google has been issuing "manual penalty" out to webmasters using expired domains this week:

A user has shared that he got it today.

So if you are using it, check your GSC now and for the next few days.

Nothing yet, but there's still enough time to see what happens.

Effects of this update might be worse than HCU.

Long story, short

OMG, it's a massacre out there.

More and more reports and comments of websites getting deindexed.

This is fucking wild.

Yep
Google is disabling everything that helps people rank on Google.

It's end of era

Tired of those Google updates.

One of my websites, a forum with user-generated content just like bhw was doing amazing and now traffic and new users dropped 80%, per day.

What a joke.

Nothing new here... G have been pushing up big sites for some time and killing small ones.

Got hit by the March update. Has anyone dealt with this issue yet?

Pretty much this.

In my niche, if you search for "buy product-name" the first two pages that come up are gov and edu sites. Literally not relevant at all and none even contain the "buy" keyword. There is nothing we can do about this. It literally does not return the results that are requested. It does not do it's 1 job.

You know why?

Google just doesn't want webmasters to have free leads or easy sales from organic search anymore. They force webmasters to go for paid ads instead. And also to frustrate users so they just click on the ads to buy instead.

When they made the "reviews update" real-time and integrated to the system I already expect things to get worse.

Google is just pure greedy now. They are doing whatever they can do maximize ad revenues. They are no longer the "don't be evil" company.

Google has even deindexed a few sites that purely use AI content. Even some old domains that are used for posting low-quality, AI-based content for the sake of getting easy ranking are now under its radar.

I think they will be able to hit low quality PBNs with easy to find footprints and AI content websites....I've told you DON'T USE AI CONTENT when all Gurus said that Google loves AI content and you should use it on your money sites.

The raise of AI is the biggest threat to Google business model...if I have an AI that can answer all my questions why the hell I would click on Ads?
