Using employee discounts for fba?

I have been gone from these forums for the past few months because I landed a job in marketing. The company is extremely well known and I have permission through them to sell, part of my job is to get talk small stores into carrying this brand. It is in the jewelry niche.
I get a base line discount on everything they make, meaning I can buy a usually $1k piece for material + labor... bringing the price down to $600. They have ALOT of products.
What do you guys think?
