I have a bunch of EMD of keywords that are products i sell online.

Is it possible to rank them #1 but redirect them to my ecommerce site when clicked?

Would i simply need to put up a basic one page site for each domain to do that? Would it still rank for the keyword with a 301 redirect?

Come on guys...in genuinely a one man band taking on the big boys!

All help appreciated

Unless I'm confusing myself, if you ranking the one page site, than 301 it to main site, your main site should show up as #1.

Hahaha, one man band! I feel ya man so I will chime in as best I can. A 302 redirect should work in this case but doing a cross domain 302 redirect may eventually get reindexed. All I know is that I have several fortune 1000 clients who still use 302 redirects on their homepages and the original 302 page is still the one that shows up in Google.

Other than that you could install a cloaking script but thats probably too advanced for what you need. You could also try to a javascript redirect which may not work for Google.

I hope some of this helps..

Thanks...dont know too much about cloaking so ill read into it. Thanks
