Using Dual Lcd Monitors for IM

Hi,

I have one question, why many people who are into IM use Dual Monitor for their Internet Marketing.

Is anyone in BHW are using this kind of setup for their IM and Can you give its advantage's and how to use it.

People use two monitors because it increases their productivity..so they make more money. There's a diminishing return after the addition of the second monitor and after 3 it drops off even more. Two is definitely better than one.
 
I use tw0 monitors so I can run Win Auto progs. I template them to run on the second monitor so they do not interfere with my manual work. I also use it to run stats in a rotating browser when not automating. It allows me to keep all of the auto and stat stuff out of my hair while watching youtube. lol
 
It is worth it, if nothing more than to save the time of having to toggle back and forth from browser to program, to copy, etc. When I first moved up to dual monitors a few years back, I increased my productivity and reduced my time at the grindstone by half.

I do more in way less time. The routine crap that I don't have to do anymore just to get from one window to the next has cleared a ton of wasted time in the future.

Not to mention, it is nice to run tv tuner cards and such as well. I run my videos, music, DirecTv, stereo and video game systems right to my office desk.

This Information has helped me a lot, as i was planning to buy a new system for my IM activates and i was thinking about the advantage of dual monitors.

Get a decent video card with 1 GB ram and dual DVI outputs. Windows supports dual monitors without any additional software. I can't work without duals anymore. Once you get used to them you can't go back to working on a single screen. Seems like to much wasted time switching. Also nice to see a 30 column spreadsheet without scrolling left and right.

how do you setup two monitors, should i ask for an add on display card or will it come with the motherboard itself.

Yes an addon display card is required. It must have 2 ports which will enable you to hook up two monitors. I currently run an Nvidia 9800gx2 which has 2 outgoing ports.

http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/ sells devices which allow you to run more than 2 on a single gfx card.
 
I've always wanted this set up for myself as it would be awesome to look at 2 screens while conducting research for keywords and articles. Gotta get another Samsung 22" soon :D

I use an old computer hooked into the back of my router. This is my second computer that remains on during the day so I can view live stats and check email etc. I just make sure that I turn it off when I go to bed to save on the power bill.
 
Dual monitors... thats it? Just 2... :D

I hate to brag... but I have 6 x 22 inch flat screens hooked up to 4 computers all running 1 x keyboard and 1 x mouse. Its set up as 3 across and 2 high.

Talk about a productivity boost. Right now I have google analytics on one screen, market samurai on another, scrapebox on another, email on another, aweber on another, and BHW on the last one.....!

It lets you run multiple computers and monitors with just one keyboard and mouse. And its open sourse/Free and easy to set up. You can even cut and paste between the different pc's. Of course you need to hook them all up to a router to make this all work.
