I'm currently working on dating-niche project that I plan to get online in Q113, but today I noticed that there's simply awesome ccTLD available and I wouldn't want to pass it up. But I'd like to know that would it make any sense to run tube/white label camsite on the domain until I get the actual site online? As the project is aimed to be pretty much European-wide with synchronized launch, we're easily looking 6(+) months until everything is ready, and I'd like to start building up some backlinks and whatnot.
But is it a bad thing if I first build tube/cam site for 6mo, and then wipe it all to make it dating site? Niche would be exactly the same (given not dating in the beginning), but the content would be 100% different upon replacing the site later on.
According to Google Keyword Tool, the phrase (or well, word) gets 90,500 local monthly searches, with Wikipedia being #1 and the rest some random porntubes, so I think with low competition ranking this domain to #1 wouldn't be any issue given the actual content including user submissions.
TL; DR;
Can I replace 6mo old content and site with completely other content and site in the same niche without the fear or losing any of the work done to backlinking the domain?
