The kind of words that are perplexing to some and recognizable to many. I think will gain better footing and rank better in the long run versus using more common words to describe things. I do not think going out of the way to make a sentence look awkward is right either, I think there is a recognition of context and how the word is used that becomes important in ranking.
Example of words that I think are uncommon.
Even if I am wrong at the moment, I still think vocabulary will play a bigger role than it does now. Once every niche has been saturated with every angle possible is when I think more value will be given to the artistic value of an article.
And no I did not think of all those words on my own, I did receive some assistance for some.
Please share you thoughts on this, I only was thinking of this as I made someone's squidoo lens rank better with my writing compared to anything he has tried writing. Maybe it was the item that he was trying to sell, regardless it made me think of a broader vocabulary playing a major role in ranking his lens.
So start reading those dictionaries folks, so that we can put the good people at Merriam Webster to work making easier words for us to use.
