How necessary is it to use different IP's when creating Web 2.0's? I want to create some but unsure how important it is.

It's really up to how many of them you wish to create. I myself was able to create about 4-5 accounts on several web2.0's each, with just a single IP and never got banned

But it won't hurt to use always different IPs, it's more secure that way

use one IP to create one set of web 2.0s, I think that's quite ok if the IPs are use by only you.

I use a different IP with Cyberghost for each web 2.0. Better to stay on the safe side, especially if you can do it just by clicking a button and waiting for a few seconds.

It is more important if you create multtiple accounts/ blogs in 1 site with 1 IP , at some time they could all get deleted. But allways be safe and use different IP

Its ok to use single IP if you want to build 2-4 accounts on each web 2 site but if you are planning to build huge volume of accounts per site, then go for proxies.

This is a question I wondered about before building my own web 2.0s. I can tell you this: I have 10 web 2.0 blogspots on my home IP and have had no ill effects over 1 year. One of the sites I linked to received a manual penalty, too -- oops. Rankings were unaffected on other sites.


That said, I've been creating web 2.0s with proxies. For instance, I do five blogspots under 1 IP and then change IPs. I'm trying to avoid them getting deleted b/c I was lucky to find aged web 2.0s that have a lot of link juice. Whether that's essential I don't know.

From the point of SEO, that won't be a problem, but from the point of the blogger's host, there may be some limits, but far from 5 or 10 I believe

For example. If you are going to create 1 wordpress, 1 blogspot, 1 webs.com, 1 tumblr, etc. then you only need 1 IP.
If you are going to create 2+ wordpress, 2+ blogspot, 2+ webs.com and etc, then it depends on the site. The only thing you have to worry about if your web2.0 gets deleted, the others may get deleted also.
Using different or same IPs have no effect on search engine rankings.

Hope that answers your question. Your question is vague in terms of we don't know what your goal is or what you are trying to avoid/deter.

Thanks guys. I have 20 proxies that I use for GSA SER. If I wanted to use those how to I actually browse with them to use them? Is it somehwere in Internet Options?
