So say you have a dropshipper with whom you have built up a lot of trust. Dont have to pay until product delivered . Never have had any issues and they would like you to get a vba in your name then send them the debit card and load the card whenever it's time for payment and they withdraw funds from ATM using card. Are there any unforeseen consequences from doing things this way? Oh and I am in the USA

Personally I would never do this. This sounds super sketchy, especially if they're not in the U.S. You'd be outside of the protection of any regulatory agencies in the U.S.

If you personally know about the drop shipper, then doing this way doesn't hurt you, but if the drop shipper is unknown, may be its just risk part from you that after you load the card, he can withdraw and do not respond.

So you should decide whether he is trustworthy or not.

my concern isn't the trust issue, i don't pay til product is delivered. I'm concerned about IRS. I will have in excess of $200,000 moving in and out of an account with my name on it. Will a receipt from the supplier which is not based in The USA be enough to satisfy the IRS since the only transaction record will be me putting money in the debit account and him going to an atm with debit card with my name on it and withdrawing the money I owe

No consequences using this payment plan, just make sure you have funds or you might run into problems with dropshipper.

debit card is a good idea cuz you can do a charge back if you need to
